MICRO ECONOMIC BUSINESSES

It's simply a fact of life that resources are needed to fulfil ministry. Capture and Release Ministries believes that our overseas partners should be as self-supporting as possible. Every ministry needs to invest into its work and not rely on others to do it for them. To always rely upon others is unhealthy because it takes away from the need to rely upon God as our source. Also if the support stops the possibility that the ministry stops is also likely as Pastors must provide for their families.

If I said Pastor Support what picture does this place in your mind? Really the correct term is Pastor Welfare and I trust you can see the difference. It rather takes away from the romantic notion of Pastor Support. For this reason as a general rule, we should be giving to missions on the basis of development and not welfare. Which is better giving fish or contributing a pond and fish stock? Contributing fish means that you must give every year, but the pond and fish stock is on going and once off. Through the use of development, the money that would have been used as development can be used for another Pastor to become self-supporting.

GIFTS FOR OTHER DEVELOPMENT LOANS

We seek gifts to enable us to grant as many development loans as is possible.  The more development loans received the more bible college students can be trained and Pastors can become self-supporting. It is our plan for the assistant Pastors to plant new churches in different areas. To do that additional loan funds are needed. GIFTS FOR DEVELOPMENT LOANS ARE GIFTS THAT KEEP ON GIVING BECAUSE THEY ARE PAID BACK BY THE INDIAN PARTNER AND GIVEN TO ANOTHER BATCH OF PASTORS.
